Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This week's question is to list your top 10 favorite books of 2010.
I read a lot of good books this year, so I had to really think about my favorites. But here they are, in no particular order:
- The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
- Russian Winter by Daphne Kalotay
- Fall of Giants by Ken Follett
- A Long Long Time Ago and Essentially True by Brigid Pasulka
- Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson
- The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa
- The Tower,The Zoo and The Tortoise by Julia Stuart
- The Journal of Helene Berr by Helene Berr
- Room by Emma Donoghue
- A Novel Bookstore by Laurence Cosse
I haven't read any of these! But I do want to read Room and The Housekeeper. I think A Novel Bookstore is also on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteThe Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is on my list, too. Major Pettigrew will be my first book of 2011 (January book club selection) and The Housekeeper is on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteI really really want to read Room and Russian Winter. Except "The novel bookstore" by Cossé, I haven't read anything on your list... shame on me ;))
ReplyDeleteAnyone who loved Henrietta and Major Pettigrew is a-okay in my book! I just added everything else on your list to my wishlist.
