It's Monday - What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at bookjourney to allow us to share with others in the book-loving cyberworld what is on our reading plates.
Books finished this week:
- Purge by Sofi Oksanen.
- Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English by Natasha Solomons
Books in Progress:
- Best European Fiction 2010 edited by Aleksandar Hemon
- Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling by Ross King
- War & Peace by Leo Tolstoy -- only 35 pages in but I think I will enjoy it, once I get a handle on all of the characters
Have fun with your parents and Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you have some time to immerse yourself into War and Peace (I'm not sure I'll ever have the courage to tackle it).
What did you think of Mr Rosenblum?

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Mr. Rosenblum. I was having second thoughts about it midway through, but it picked up again. Worth sticking it out.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteTo counter balance the large number of academic journal articles I'm reading, I read a bunch of books off my wishlist. I also finished up some text books. Here's what I'm reading this week.
I'm on page 25! You're still beating me!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great reads on for this week! I am still deciding on Friday - I think I will work but maybe just half a day :)
ReplyDeleteMichelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling sounds interesting -- looking forward to your review on this one. I'm wondering if I should put this on my wish list?
